| With the aggravation of the aging of the population in today’s society,the elderly have gradually become the key group concerned by the whole society.Because of the decline of physical function,the elderly have to use the means of transportation to achieve the purpose of autonomous movement.Wheelchair,as a widely used means of transportation for the disabled,can bring convenience to the daily activities of the elderly with mobility difficulties.However,the current design of wheelchairs in the market generally lacks the pertinence to the needs of the elderly population and cannot guarantee the safety of the elderly.The concept of barrier-free emphasizes that in today’s technological era,all public space environment and infrastructure planning related to people should take into account the use needs of people with different degrees of physical disabilities and disabilities and people with declining normal activity ability.By equips with service functions and facilities that can meet the special needs of such groups,So as to create a comfortable,warm,safe,convenient modern living environment.This topic deeply excavates the actual needs of the target elderly users for electric wheelchairs.Guided by the concept of barrier-free,the barrier-free design of electric wheelchairs is made for users’ needs.Choose domestic over 60 elderly persons with mild cognitive impairment as the research object,combined theoretical analysis and practice,using the questionnaire survey method,the semantic differential method to dig deeper into the elderly demand,for the elderly and the demand of the electric wheelchair relations,system analysis and extraction using ergonomics discipline theory knowledge,The design strategy of barrier-free electric wheelchair for the elderly is proposed.The design practice was carried out and the scheme was obtained.The scheme was optimized through the eye movement tracking experiment,and the scheme was finally demonstrated. |
