Research On Traditional Village Protection Planning Based On Space Syntax Theory

The proposal of the rural revitalization strategy has clarified the specific path for the rural industry,culture,talents,ecology and organizational revitalization.At the same time,in recent years,a number of lists of traditional Chinese villages have been published,which makes the protection and revitalization of traditional villages become an increasingly concerned topic and one of the important focuses in balancing urban and rural development.Xijiebao Village,Xiaoyi City,Shanxi Province,belongs to the fourth batch of traditional Chinese villages,and is a typical local settlement in Western Shanxi Province,which is tied by blood clans.With abundant buildings,simple streets and alleys,exquisite decoration and strong humanistic atmosphere,the protection and development of village dwellings are imminent.Taking Xijiebao village as the research object and from the perspective of spatial syntax theory,this paper studies it from microscopic to macroscopic,that is,from single building,Street shape to the control scope of village construction.By introducing the spatial syntax theory,this paper establishes the logical framework and scientific planning means of traditional village space research based on quantitative model and empirical analysis,and then verifies the feasibility and practical significance of the spatial syntax theory in traditional village research and planning through practical cases and computer operations.The purpose is to promote the scientific development of traditional village planning.The article is divided into three parts and consists of four chapters.The first part is Chapter I and Chapter II.The first chapter is the introduction part,which elaborates the origin,research object and content,research framework and literature review of this article;the second chapter is based on field research to analyze and summarize the statusquo of Xijiebao traditional villages,combing out the natural conditions,historical evolution and spatial form of Xijiebao village,and concludes that Xijiebao village is a representative area in Western Shanxi,under the influence of Shanxi businessmen which takes consanguineous clan as the traditional settlements linking.The conclusion paves the way for the follow-up study of village value combing and planning.The second part is the third chapter,which is the core of this paper.Based on the theory of spatial syntax,this chapter studies Xijiebao village at different levels,such as residential buildings,Street texture and core protected areas,obtains the formation of Xijiebao village's architectural space,the distribution of node buildings,and the formation of street texture,and explores the scientific rules behind the formation of villages;on this basis,it analyses and summarizes the value of Xijiebao village and the existing problems.The third part is Chapter IV and Chapter V.Chapter IV focuses on the protection planning level of villages.Combining with the previous research results,based on the spatial syntax theory,the protection planning scheme of Xijiebao Village has been formed.The research and modification suggestions of the scheme are made from the three dimensions of single building,Street texture and construction control scope.The paper holds that the protection planning of traditional villages is not simply a reconstruction,but a new way and content of village construction.The fifth chapter is a summary and reflection.It draws a conclusion that the use of spatial syntax theory can make planning and work more scientifically and rationally,and it also reflects and prospects the future planning of traditional villages.
