Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,in the rapidly growing social background of the aging population,China is rapidly developing and building old-age care institutions. The relative reality is that there are still many problems in the architectural design of the old-age care institutions. These design problems increase the operating costs of the care institutions and affect the operational efficiency of the institutions. To a large extent, avoiding the occurrence of these design problems will play a crucial role in the operation of pension institutions. However, since China is still the primary stage of the development of the old-age care institutions at the current stage, the existing guidance and research on the service space design of the old-age care institutions are relatively few,and there is a need for relevant theoretical research to guide the design practice. Therefore, this article hopes to introduce the method of architectural planning and establish a post-assessment database for the service space of old-age care institutions. The existing practical experience will be fed back into future designs to explore how humane and refined design can be used to make aged care institutions. The service space can meet the needs of users, improve the operating efficiency of pension institutions, and save operating costs. To this end,the author conducted research on the common problems and design strategies of the service space of elderly care institutions through literature research, field surveys, and case studies, combined with the observation and analysis of user behavior characteristics and space requirements in post-evaluation.The design points of how to achieve high efficiency in the service space of elderly care institutions.First of all, through the combing of the architectural planning theory, the author explores the guiding significance of post-evaluation in the use of architectural planning theory for the service space design of pension institutions, and proposes a method for the post-employment evaluation of pension institutions.Secondly, the author through the use of post-employment evaluation of China’s pension institutions, summed up the design of the common service space that drags down the organization’s operating efficiency, increases the organization’s operating costs, and analyzes the causes of these problems. Then, the author conducted a survey-style post-assessment of an old-age care facility with relatively mature operations and prominent architectural issues, detailedly analyzed the behavioral characteristics of the various groups of people in the service space of the old-age care facilities, summarized the corresponding space design requirements, and tried to follow the design principles. The design points of the service space of the care agency are given in terms of location selection, streamline organization, function configuration and detail design. In order to achieve the same reasonable building design, the elderly care institutions can effectively operate and reduce labor costs. In the end,the author applies some of the design points proposed in this paper to the project practice of the Changchun Social Welfare Institute, deepens the design of the service space, and tests and reflects on the research results.
