With the development of social economy,the mass demand for electric power is increasing,and they put forward higher requirements on the reliability and quality of power supply system.The power system can not operate normally or fault operation is the cause of the power system accidents,the whole or part of the work of the power system suffered damage,will lead to less user power supply time,the accident seriously even reduce the power quality,resulting in equipment damage and casualties.The distribution network is at the end of the whole power system,the accident of distribution network will directly affect the user power.Therefore,how to find and remove the fault in time,and reasonably optimize the allocation of resources and reduce operation losses in the premise of ensuring the safe operation of power system become the most effective way to prevent the expansion of power failure,improve the security and stability of power system operation,and it is also the problem that scholars in this field need to focus on.In order to improve the accuracy and rapidity of distribution network fault location,this paper introduces the common faults on the basis of analysis of fault location and on-line monitoring technology at home and abroad,and puts forward a new type of fault detection technology.The main contents of this study include the following: First,the background and significance of this research is elaborated.After reviewing the research results of the school library and http//xfdk.periodicals.net.cn,how to network fault location and online monitoring by scholars at home and abroad,the main content of this paper is introduced in detail.Second,the knowledge of fault location principle,signal injection method and so on,and how to use signal injection method in fault location and online monitoring,and further introduce the realization of this signal injection method.Third,based on the above research,this paper expounds the fault location of distribution network and the overall design of online monitoring system,and introduces the main contents of software and hardware design in detail.At the same time,the influence of Fourier algorithm on fault location of distribution network is pointed out,and the improved full wave Fourier algorithm is proposed,which caneffectively filter the high harmonic or decaying DC component of power system fault.Fourth,according to the working example of distribution network,the fault location and online monitoring system are verified,and the validity and feasibility of the fault location and monitoring in distribution network are verified.The results show that the distribution network fault is an important means to realize the self-healing or partition fault of distribution network.Using this fault location and online monitoring system can quickly help the repairman find out the fault point after the fault occurs,has better reliability,accuracy,is a method worth promoting and should be paid attention to by the relevant researchers.At the same time,the application of the system can also meet the work needs of the maintenance personnel,improve their repeated testing process,improve the efficiency of maintenance personnel.
