Study On The Space Settlement Of Historical Villages And The Village Construction Planning--A Case Study Of Cangxi Village,A Famous Chinese Historical Village

Up to May 31,2016,the statistics shows that there are 252 historical culture towns and 276 historical culture villages in total in China.These ancient towns and villages are the crystallization of our history and culture,which has a profound historical and cultural heritage.These towns and villages are the witness of the change of time and dynasty,reflecting the unique national folkways.The inheritance is supposed to be carefully protected and developed.However,the consciousness of the cultural protection in our country is quite weak,resulting in the gradual damages and destructions of historic towns and villages.What's worse,the rebuilding for these towns and villages is actually another catastrophic damage without professional guidance.The ancient villages in China have undergone tremendous changes during the past six decades.Due to the policy of urbanization,the industrialization and reform and opening of China,a number of these historic villages have been damaged,even destroyed.With rapid economic development and increasing population,the ancient villages should not only meet the pursuit of human interest,but also adapt to the needs of expansion of the residences.In the evolution of the settlement space form of the ancient village,how to guarantee the economic development of these villages without losing the cultural heritage is an important topic in the protection of our country's rural architecture.In this paper,we choose the Cangxi village in Fuliang county,JiangxiProvince as the research object.According to the result of field measurement and surveys,this paper summarizes the developing rules of the settlement space form in various historical periods by using multi-space analysis method,combining with the architecture,ekistics and sociology methods.Besides,we analyze the internal motivation of the evolution of settlement space form of the ancient villages from the history,social environment and economic system.Therefore,based on the Spatial syntactic research theory,this study utilizes ArcGIS 10.0 loading Axwoman4.0 system platform to analyze the morphological characteristics of Cangxi village so that the spatial morphological variables results can be output,which can be comparatively analyzed and statistically studied.The accessibility and attractive space of tourism of ancient villages can be concluded.This paper offers a practical planning of village construction and industrialdevelopment for Cangxi village,proposes development patterns of ancient tourism,and gives some positive suggestions for tourist development of ancient villages in China.
