The solar radiation is strong in Wuhan in summer,and has an important influence on the energy consumption for air-conditioning.Sun shading of building has the function of regulating solar radiation,so as to reduce energy consumption for air conditioning.Under suitable orientation building would have less sunshine and less energy consumption for air-conditioning in summer,and would get more solar radiation and less energy consumption for heating in winter.Concerned of geographical and climatic conditions of Wuhan,this paper analyzed the present situation of exterior shading of buildings in Wuhan,pointed out the suitable form and size of sun shading and provided reference for the design of sun shading and for the determination of building orientation in Wuhan.Based on the thermal parameters in Wuhan area,a research model for calculation is established.Take the minimum ratio of annual total energy consumption for air conditioning and heating as standard,this paper studied the form and size of sun shading and the orientation of buildings.On the basis of meeting national and local standards,the energy simulation software PBECA is applied to analyze annual total energy consumption for air conditioning and heating under different forms and sizes of sun shading and different building orientations.Specific research is carried out in the following aspects: under south,south-west and south-east building orientation,the annual total energy consumption for air conditioning and heating of horizontal sun shading,vertical sun shading and integrated sun shading is analyzed.The influence of building orientation on annual total energy consumption for air conditioning and heating is also studied.At last the best form and size of sun shading and the best orientation of building are applied to a residential building under different conditions in Wuhan to verify the feasibility of the conclusion.The results show that: the integrated sun shading is suitable for south window under south and south-east building orientation and suitable for east window under east,east-south and east-north building orientation,horizontal sun shading is suitable for south window under south-west building orientation and suitable for west window under west,west-south and west-north building orientation.
