The rapid expansion of metropolis promotes the development of the suburban area. The radial rail transit extends to the suburban area and it strengthens the traffic connection between suburban area and center city.Under the background of the public transport integration, conventional bus integration system is in a dynamic equilibrium in the suburban area. After the operation of rail transit, their passenger flow interacts with each other and the network connection between conventional bus and rail transit should be studied in order to achieve the coordinated development. The paper studied the developmental mode of public transport integration of the metropolis. The conclusion is that the public transport integration in the suburban area is in the second stage. At this stage it's main task is to realize the coordinated development on the traffic corridor. The paper combed the hierarchy of bus network in the suburban area and analysed the changing trend of passenger flow before and after the operation of rail transit according to the survey data. Then the paper analyzed bus network connection relationship. The paper adopted the method of exploratory factor analysis and clustering analysis and divided the conventional bus within the scope of transit corridor into different varieties. Then the paper put forward the adjustment method and took Pidu area in Chendu as an example for case analysis. The paper set up a model with the optimization of the travel time of the feeder bus lines and residential population covered by the feeder bus stations. Then the paper adopted the method of Genetic Algorithm to solve the model and designed an example in order to prove the feasibility of GA in searching the feeder bus routes.
