Steel pipe industry is very important economically in our country.While the market demand of steel pipes is extremely large in our country,the production is also increasing every day.The double working position automatic steel pipe end-facing chamfering machine is widely used in the steel pipe production,which is an indispensable equipment in the production process.The advantage of the machine is the ability to process two steel pipes together simultaneously,which improves efficiency and reduces cost.The steel pipe automatic feeding mechanism is the main component of double working position automatic steel pipe end-facing chamfering machine.This paper is mainly about the research and analysis of the automatic feeding mechanism,which includes the following contents:The automatic feeding mechanism is modelled,simulated and analyzed in the ADAMS.By researching the mechanism in the post-processing module,the lifting force,propulsion force,power and load measurement curves at major hinges are obtained,which provide the reference for the optimized structure design of the mechanism,verifying the strength of each rod and reliability analysis.Parametrically model the mechanism Using ADAMS,and optimize it by parametric design to reduce the maximum driving force for the hydraulic cylinder.The post-optimization maximum lifting force is decreased by 55.6%,the average lifting force is decreased by 43.5%,the maximum propulsion force is decreased by 12.2%,the average propulsion force is decreased by 29.4%,while the maximum lifting power of the lifting mechanism is reduced by 56.8%,and the power for the propulsion mechanism is reduced by 37.9%.By performing dynamic analysis on the key rods of the optimized mechanism through ADAMS,the loads of each hinge of the key rods are obtained.By performing finite element analysis on the key rods through ANSYS,the stress distribution and deformation of the key rods are obtained.And one of the key rod which has a large deformation has been optimized design,the deformation is decreased by 50.05%.Finally,the reliability analysis of the key rods is established by using the stress-strength interference theory and the result shows the reliability of more than 99.99%.
