The loess plateau has a unique historical and cultural landscape because of its complex topography, long history and rich culture. These are important marks that witness the development of the Huaxia Nationality. With the negative impact of urban development on the environment, the soil erosion of loess plateau is increasingly serious and the ecological environment is very fragile, which makes it more difficult to protect the historical and cultural landscape. The problem of flooding in modern cities is an urgent and serious problem, which is also a big issue in the loess plateau threatening the safety of the historical cultural landscape.Waterlogging not only affects the historical and cultural buildings and the quality of surrounding environment, but also affects the living quality of users. The deterioration of the environment and the lack of resources forced thedeparture of the indigenous people, which put the protection of historical and cultural landscape in a dilemma. The author has the honor to follow the professor to explore the historical and cultural landscape of the appropriate protection methods. In the course of her research,it's remained the primary focus of attention for how to achieve sustainable protection of the historical and cultural landscape in loess plateau from the perspective of rain-flood management on the basis of the great particularity in the loess plateau terrain, landform, climate and soil conditions.Based on the theory of storm water management, using the technology of sponge city, taking the ancient city of xiaoyi as an example, the group explore the appropriate method of conservation of the historical cultural landscape of the loess plateau. This paper is divided into four chapters:Chapter 1: Firstly, the author introduces the research background, research questions, research objects and related concepts; Then, previous theoretical study is completed, which includes collecting the literature, summarizing the development history and research achievements of the flood management, explaining the research content, research method, research purpose and research significance, based on which the thesis framework is constructed.Chapter 2: This paper takes TaiYuan,LiuLin and ChangLing asan example, which are three different levels, different types, different historical and cultural landscape location of the loess plateau, using the field trips, photos taking and residents interview,to investigate the current situation of waterlogging in the historical and cultural landscape of loess plateau.Chapter 3: Firstly, the article integrates relevant theories and summarizes five principles of waterlogging for the protection of historical and cultural landscape of loess plateau.Secondly, the paper shows six storm water management strategies for the protection of historical and cultural landscape of loess plateau. Then,it summarizes the study of the two types of storm water management cases; Finally, the paper concludes the technical means of controlling the rain-flood management of the historical and cultural landscape of loess plateau.Chapter 4: Taking ancient city of Xiaoyi as an example,to study the adaptability of the landscape conservation of the ancient city in the loess plateau.Firstly, the paper researches the reason why Xiaoyi city in history is not affected by the flood damage attack.Secondly, make a site analysis on natural geographical conditions of Xiaoyi, research on the development of history and culture of the city and study the current situation of waterlogging in ancient city. Finally, the author uses the technical means of rain-flood management in chapter 3 to conduct landscape protection design for the ancient city of Xiaoyi.Italso tries to choose the appropriate mathematical model to carry out the simple principle, propose the feasibility of future research, and pave the way for the next stage of research.
