Ring mold straw machine is very important straw extrusion molding equipment. When using it which is arises the mechanical efficiency is low and the ring die wear and serious problem. Optimization and strength finite element analysis was completed in the roller one of main components of ring die straw forming machine and the radius ratio of the ring mold, which have important theoretical and practical significance.In this paper,in according to the main components and the power source parameters of the ring die straw forming machine in extrusion of the material for the process, the pressure roller and the ring mold of the force, the size, the number of the pressure roller, and the aspect ratio of the die orifice are calculate, which lay important foundation of the ring die straw forming machine key components of strength finite element analysis.Wheat straw material through extrusion process stress analysis, the mechanical efficiency of the process mathematical model is established. The objective function is defined as the ring mold straw machine mechanical efficiency when using MATLAB software. And pressure roller and the ratio of the radius of the ring mold is optimized. The annular mold roller is derived as the ratio of the radius of 0.4, when the mechanical efficiency is the maximum.Pro/E software to be used for creating different openings taper ring mold and wheat straw materials, three-dimensional model. Equipped body model is imported into ANSYS software, through the interface. ANSYS software is applied for the strength finite element analysis. Best annular die opening taper of 45° is determined, depending on the taper of the annular die opening stress contours, which is proved reasonable by means of the FEA.The three-dimensional model of the ring mold is created through the use of Pro/E software. The model is imported into ANSYS software in order to the strength finite element analysis. Stress and displacement contours can be drawn that the middle of the ring mold is its weak position. Structural improvements are carried out against the ring mold.Different shapes of the pressure roller slot opening is created Pro/E software, which strength finite element analysis is carried out and the ANSYS software is utilized. According to their stress and displacement contours and the difficulty of the material discharged together, which can be drawn that the trapezoidal pressure roller is optimal.
