Research On Technical Models About The Plants Configuration Of The Chrysanthemum Special Garden In Beijing

Chrysanthemum×morifolium Ramat.has high ornamental value and profound cultural connotation,it plays an important role both in potted ornamental plants and the earth landscape construction.Chrysanthemums are the city flower of Beijing,often referred to as the ‘gentleman' in flowers,however,there are few chrysanthemum special gardens in Beijing.The chrysanthemum special garden has greater emphasis on plant growing characteristics,which is on the subject of chrysanthemums,so plants configuration is the top priority when constructing chrysanthemum special garden.Excellent plants configuration can fully embody the value of the ornamental and practicality in chrysanthemums,it is beneficial to do scientific research,rich landscape and transfer culture of chrysanthemums.This paper mainly discussed the application value of the chrysanthemums,including ornamental value,cultural value and medical edible value.The paper also reviewed the origin,distribution and classification of chrysanthemums,and investigated the plants configuration of chrysanthemums landscape from some chrysanthemum exhibitions and botanical gardens in Beijing and its peripheral regions,including Beihai Park,Beijing Botanical Garden,World Flower Grand Garden in Beijing and Shijiazhuang Botanical Garden.With the observations and investigation from the creation form,specific measures and the selection of varieties,the advantages and problems in these gardens can be found.On the basic of the research results,the paper summarized the main principle of the plants configuration,including scientific principle,functional principle,artistry principle,cultural principle and economical principle.Besides,the paper also summarized some technical models about the plants configuration for the chrysanthemum special garden,including the mode of chrysanthemum single configuration,the mode of chrysanthemum with compositae plants and the mode of chrysanthemum with other plants,which can enrich the landscape of chrysanthemums.The paper elaborates the methods on plants configuration and the varieties selection of chrysanthemums.
