Straw is a big part of available resource left in the process of agricultural production. In recent years, straw is burnt seriously, causing air pollution and the waste of resources. Government advocates straw application. At present, most farmers generally use a rotary cultivator to directly plough the fields with straw in them only once, which makes it impossible for roots in the soil to be fully chopped. As a result, the roots are not easy to rot, causing inconvenience to the follow-up farming. Some farmers use stubble machines first and then adopt rotary cultivating-seeding method. Stubble machines on the market are divided into two kinds, positive rotation stubble machine and reverse rotation stubble machine. A positive rotation stubble machine's stubble effect is good, but it's poor at stubble-burying. So straw is not fully buried and can not decay in time to be absorbed by the soil. In contrast, a reverse rotation stubble machine is better at stubble-burying, but the energy consumption is high. The reverse rotation stubble machine introduced in this paper can reduce energy consumption effectively.The paper represents a new type of energy-saving reverse rotation stubble machine with a front positioned stubble-cutting and clod-dividing device and a testing device. The new machine adopts single side transmission way which effectively avoids the leakage of tillage. In the front of the stubble machine, there is an additional stubble-cutting and clod-dividing device driven by external force.When it works, it first cut the stubble field longitudinally to divide clods and cut stubble and then clean the stubble reverse-rotarily. The stubble-cutting and clod-dividing device cut the stubble field first which can effectively reduce the power consumption in the process of stubble-cleaning by the stubble blade. The testing device added on the input shaft can test power consumption, revolving speed and torque size. The stubble blade is designed reasonably, thus making it easier to get into the soil. The ability of cutting stubble, turning over the soil and covering stubble is enhanced. At the back of the new machine, there is a fence-typed suppression device which can make the ground more flat after removing stubble.The design first 3D models the stubble blade and the whole machine. Ansysanalysis is carried out on the key component-stubble blade. Abqus motion simulation analysis is carried out on the whole process of rotary tillage stubble cleaning, and a reasonable technology route is designed. After the designing of components, they will be assembled to a whole, and the entity model will be manufactured to be applied in the experiments.The entity model machine will be applied in the experiments after being manufactured. The contents of the experiments include revolving speed, power consumption and torque in the following 5 situations:A. as whole equipment B. with the front positioned stubble-cutting plate but without the rear roller C. without the front positioned stubble-cutting plate D. by applying special stubble blades and normal blades E. by carrying out experiments in different sample fields with different stubbleThrough these comparisons, it can be known whether the design of the blade is energy-saving and whether the front positioned stubble-cutting device can reduce the power consumption in the process of stubble cleaning.
