This paper aimed at key technical problems of high value-added comprehensi ve utilization of natural resources pine needles and coconut coir,taking pine needles and coconut coir as the substrate material,investigated the basic physical and chemical properties of pine needles and coconut coir,including water and fertilizer release abilit y,buffer capacit y of acid,alkali and salt,etc.Through the seedlings experiments and cultivation experiments of tomato and spinach,Screening out the best proportion of complex substrate and the optimal amount of slow controlled-release fertilizer.The research may provide certain reference of preparation and application of total nutrients grow-bag.The main results are as follow:(1)Total porosit y of pine needles and coconut coir are above 88%,water holding capacity are higher than 290%,bulk densit y,p H and electrical conductivity are in excellent soilless cultivation substrate scope.Pine needles are rich in mineral elements than coconut coir,the content of Fe、Mn、Ca、Mg、B、Zn and Cu are 1.4 times higher than that of coconut coir,pine needles can provide nutrients for plants to a certain extent.The acid,alkaline and saline buffering capacity of pine needles were 0.0689,0.1033 and 0.1202 mol/kg respe ctivel y,the coconut coir were 0.0567,0.0842 and 0.1394 mol/kg respectivel y,they had similar buffering capacit y.Pine needles has excellent physical and chemical properties,it can be used as organic cultivation of the substrate.(2)In complex substrate of pine needles and coconut coir,the seed germination rate of tomato and spinach are higher the 94% in different proportion.After 30 days of growth,tomato seedling grew best in T2(pine needles/coconut coir was 2/2),its dry weight,fresh weight and plant hei gh were 28.9%,50.0% and 17.6% higher than those of the control group.The dry weight,fresh weight and plant heigh of spinach seedling were best in T2,and those were 35.3%,31.4% and 15.3% higher than those of the control group.T2(pine needles/coconut coir wa s 2/2)was the best substrate of seeding.(3)In total nutrients grow-bag of pine needles and coconut coir,Physiological indexes and yield of tomato or spinach were significantl y improved in the composite matrix.and when pine needles/coconut coir was 2/2,the yield of tomato and spinach were maximum yield.The per plant yield of tomato was 2276 g,and per plant yield of spinach was 31.01 g.(4)In total nutrients grow-bag of pine needles and coconut coir,when the slow controlled-release fertilizer increased fro m 8kg/m~3 to 10kg/m~3,the photosynthetic parameters,yleid and fruit qualit y index of tomato were significantl y increase,but the slow controlled-release fertilizer increased from 10kg/m~3 to 12kg/m~3,these indexes were not increase.The concentration was 10 kg/m~3,whitch can meet the growth needs of tomato,and spinach’s best concentration of slow control fertilizer was 8kg/m~3.
