Camellia oleifera Abel which has a broad development prospect is one of the important oil trees in the south of China.The high yield variety of woody oil plant was used mostly in the current production,but its traits were uncertain and it had great diversity and low average production.Consequently,to exploit the genetic potentiality of C.oleifera Abel and to select the efficient strains with high stress resistance is the vital method to guarantee the high yield,good quality and high efficiency and achieve the conservative development.In order to research the variation of nutrient characteristic of its absorption of nitrogen,phosphorus,potassium and the dynamic change characteristics of its nutrition accumulation,eight different C.oleifera Abel strains in morphology were selected as the test material in this study.By tracking the nutritional contents in the leaves,flowers and fruits,the diversity of genetic traits among different strains in different growth periods were focused on,and based on the relationship between nutrient efficiency and characteristics,the morphological indicators of nutrient efficiency were defined.All the above provide a theoretical basis for the good quality seed selection and C.oleifera Abel nutrient genetic research.The main results were as follows:(1)Twenty nine C.oleifera Abel strains which planting widely in Jiangxi Province have abundant morphology variation,some strains which in same provenance possess similar phenotypes.According to cluster analysis result,five Ganwu strains and three Changlin strains were selected as testing strains.Morphology variation of eight tested C.oleifera Abel strains were extremely plentiful,average morphological diversity index of eight C.oleifera Abel strains is as high as 2.028.the investigation of 23 growth traits which in tree,leaf,flower,fruit and seed and so on five classes have extremely significant differences between the strains.The variation coefficient of plant height crown ratio is highest(29.48 %),and seed length is lowest(8.35 %).Meanwhile,all traits have high repeatability(0.701~0.996).In the tree structure traits,variation coefficient of plant height crown ratio(29.48 %)and plant height(28.28 %)is higher,Ganwu 1,Ganwu11,Changlin3 and Changlin 4 grow better than other strains in two years observation period.In the leaf traits,variation coefficient of leaf area is largest(29.48 %),Leaf length,leaf width,and leaf area variation coefficient of Ganwu 11 and Gan 447 is higher,and leaf length width ratio is lower.In the flower traits,flower heart longitudinal diameter(19.03 %),flower hearthorizontal diameter(18.15 %)and the number of split of stigma(17.35 %)is higher.In the fruit traits,morphology variation of Changlin 4 is higher.In the seed traits,seeds aspect ratio(16.46 %)is larggest,and seed length and seed width of Ganyong 5 is biggest.Comprehensive evaluation results show that Changlin 4 is great,Ganwu 1,Changlin 40,Changlin 3 and Ganwu 11 not far behind,Ganshi 83-4 and Gan 447 is general,Ganyong 5do not growth very well nevertheless.(2)Total nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium content in leaf,flower and fruit of different strains have extremely significant differences,and with the changes of puberty,time factor,the interaction between time factor and the strains have a significantly affect on mineral elements content.Repeated measurement multiple comparison results show that nitrogen content in leaf of Changlin 40,flower nitrogen content in Ganwu 1 and Changlin4,fruit nitrogen content in Ganwu 1,Gan 447 and Changlin 4 is higher,leaf phosphorus in Ganshi 83-4,fruit phosphorus in Changlin 4 is higher,in addition,leaf potassium in Ganyong 5,flower potassium in Ganwu 1 and core potassium in Gan 447 is higher.(3)During the fructescence,the range of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium accumulation in different strains were 41.58,8.86,and 19.05 g,respectively.coefficient of variation were 64.06 %,73.78 % and 84.49 %.Meanwhile,the utilization efficiency of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium were 10.74,144.62,and 140.25 g/g.Coefficient of variation were 5.51 %,12.35 % and 20.55 %,respectively.The difference of potassium nutrition efficiency is great than phosphorus and nitrogen.It should be noted that total nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium content significantly higher in Changlin 4.Nutrition efficiency traits of PCA,cluster analysis and discriminatory analysis showed that Changlin4 significantly better than Changlin 3 and others.(4)Path analysis results of nutrition efficiency related traits and oil production showed that fruit longitudinal diameter,total nitrogen content of fruit,fruit shape index and leaf total nitrogen content contributes great to oil production.Fruit shape index through fruit longitudinal diameter and fruit total nitrogen content indirectly affects the oil production.(5)Nutrition accumulation of leaf and fruit,nutrition content of fruit,crown,the product of plant height and crown,primary branch number,secondary branch number,the fruit vertical and transect diameter,fruit shape index and so on character correlated significantly with nutritional efficiency character,and these traits can be used as specific indicators of nutrition efficiency.Nutritional efficiency showed significant correlation to fruit yield and oil production per mu.The breeding of nutritional efficiency also is of great significance in production increasing.
