Clinical Effect Of Zaolong Anshen Prescription Combined With Escitalopram Oxalate Tablets For Anxiety And Depressive State With Compulsive Behavior(Syndrome Of Deficiency Of Qi And Yin)

Objective: To investigate the effect and safety of Zaolong Anshen Prescription(ZAP)combined with Escitalopram Oxalate Tablets on Anxiety and Depressive State with compulsive Behavior(Syndrome of Deficiency of Qi and Yin).Methods:The study conducted a randomized controlled clinical trial,in which 30 patients undergoing anxiety and depressive state with compulsive behavior who visited Hebei Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital on 2014.3 to 2015.12 participated and employed random number table to divide the patients into 2 groups,that was,experimental group and control group with 15 cases.All the patients were strictly selected through diagnostic criteria,inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.Two groups were comparable in sex,age,severity of disease.Control group(n=15)treated with Escitalopram Oxalate Tablets and experimental group(n=15)treated with ZAP and Escitalopram Oxalate Tablets for 3 months.The initial dose of Escitalopram Oxalate Tablets was 5mg and the maximal dose was 20 mg after breakfast,once a day.The patients taked Zaolong Anshen Prescription(ZAP)after morning and evening meals daily.Hamilton depression scale(HAMD),Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA),Yale-Brown obsessive-compulsive scale(Y-BOCS)and the treatment of symptoms scale(TESS)of the effectiveness of ZAP and Escitalopram Oxalate Tablets were observed before the group and after 1?2?3months.And to observe the course of treatment side effects and relief time of clinical symptom.Furthermore,the treatment efficiency,the changes of HAMD,HAMA,Y-BOCS scores,the efficiency and side effect incidence will be calculated through reduction rate.Results:1 The study showed that both the experimental group and the control group's HAMD,HAMA,Y-BOCS scores were decreased,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).2 The experimental group calculated the effective rate according to HAMD,HAMA and Y-BOCS scores reduction rate and the effective rate was higher than that of the control group.thus,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).3 The different methods between two groups existed interaction at different time after the treatment.therefore,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05),that was to say,the HAMD?HAMA and Y-BOCS scores between two groups at 1?2?3 months after treatment decline differently.The score of integration of traditional and Western medicine group was significantly higher than pure western medicine group.4 The experimental group calculated the effective rate according to HAMD,HAMA scores reduction rate was higher than that of the control group at 2?3 months.thus,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05);The experimental group calculated the effective rate according to Y-BOCS scores reduction rate was higher than that of the control group at 3 months.thus,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).5 Before and after the treatment,patients in two groups showed no obvious abnormality at blood and urine routine,liver and kidney function and electrocardiogram.It was observed that there was 1 patient(6.7%)felt nausea in the experimental group,while 5 patients(33%)in the control group appeared discomfort such as dizziness,nausea and dry mouth.All the patients did not given special treatment and the adverse reactions gradually disappeared with the time of therapy.Conclusion:1 The effect of ZAP and Escitalopram Oxalate Tablets on anxiety and depressive state with compulsive behavior(Syndrome of Deficiency of Qi and Yin)is better than pure Escitalopram Oxalate Tablets.2 The safety of ZAP and Escitalopram Oxalate Tablets on anxiety and depressive state with compulsive behavior(Syndrome of Deficiency of Qi and Yin)is better than pure Escitalopram Oxalate Tablets.The combination of Chinese and Western medicine can reduce the adverse effects of western medicine.3 Under the same conditions of treatment,the therapy of anxiety and depression is faster than the onset of OCD treatment,symptoms improved significantly,short course.The difficulty of anxiety and depression and OCD comorbidity' treatment will increase,the course will be extended,the effect will be worse.
