Studies On The Chemical Constituents Of The Fruits Of Schisandra Sphenanthera

This thesis is composed of two sections. Section one presents the studies on the chemical constituents of the fruits of Schisandra sphenanthera. Section two is a review about the pharmacodynamic actions of the family Schisandraceae in the past five years.The plant family Schisandraceae consists of the genus Kadsuraand Schisandra, which are widely distributed, and some of which have various medicinal effects. Recent reseach on this family indicated that the main chemical constituents of this family were triterpenoids and lignans, which showed benifical pharmacodynamic actions, such as anti-tumor, neuroprotective activities, anti-HIV-1, liver protection, and so on. Recently, more and more new triterpenoids and lignans which had good pharmacodynamic effects were found on this family, there is a reseach boom on the plant family Schisandraceae.In this thesis, we studied the chemical constituents of the fruit of Schisandra sphenthera which were distributed in shangluo of shanxi province. As a result, 35 compounds were found, including3 new triterpenoids and 7 known ones; 1 new lignans and 19 known ones; 4 known sesquiterpenes and 1 known glycosideswhich were isolated by repeated silica-gel, MCI-gel, ODS, Sephadex LH-20, and HPLC column chromatography. Their structures were determinted by 1H-NMR?13C-NMR?HMBC?HSQC?DEPT?1H-1H COSY?NOESY?UV?IR?HRESIMS?CD, and by compared with the published data in the literature.In addition, the pharmacodynamic actions of the family Schisandraceae in the past five years have been summed up in this dissertation.
