Objective: To investigate the expression of the inhibitor kappa B kinase alpha(IKK?)and androgen receptor(AR)in human prostate cancer(PCa)and benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH),provide a theoretical basis for further explore its role in the development and progression of prostate cancer.Methods:1 The IKK? and AR expression in 30 cases of BPH tissues and 30 cases of PCa tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry SP metheod.Analyze the expression of IKK? and AR in different tissues.To analysis the correlation between the IKK? and AR expression and their relationship with the grading,staging of PCa.2 Statistical analysis: The chi-square test and rank correlation analysis of SPSS 17.0 software were used for statistcal analysis of the results.The probability(P)-value less than 0.05 were cansidered to be statistically significant.Result:1 The immunohistochemical technique observation: Immunohistochemical results show that IKK? mainly localize in cytoplasm of glandular epithelium;AR mainly localize in the nucleus of glandular epithelium.The positive expression rate of IKK? in PCa group is 73.33%,which is significantly higher than that in BPH group(46.67%),the difference is statistically significant(P <0.05).The positive expression rate of AR in PCa group is 83.33%,which is significantly higher than that in BPH group(56.67%),the difference is statistically significant(P <0.05).2 The correlated statistics of IKK? and AR expression: the correlation coefficient of IKK? and AR expression is r=-0.568 in PCa group,has statistically significant(P <0.05),indicated a moderate degree of negativestatistical correlation between IKK? and AR expression.3 The correlated statistics of expression IKK? with tumor grading,staging of PCa group: The positive expression rate of IKK? in the poorly differentiated group is 93.33%,which is significantly higher than that in the well differentiated group(53.33%),the difference is statistically significant(P <0.05).The positive expression rate of IKK? in the advanced group is93.75%,which is significantly higher than that in the early stage of PCa group(50.00%),the difference is statistically significant(P <0.05).4 The correlated statistics of expression AR with tumor grading,staging of PCa group: The positive expression rate of AR in the well differentiated group is 100%,which is significantly higher than that in the poorly differentiated group(66.67%),the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).The positive rate of AR in the early stage of PCa group is 92.86%,and the positive expression rate of AR in advanced group is 75.00%,the difference is not statistically significant(P> 0.05).Conclusion:1 The positive expression rate and intensity of IKK? and AR in prostate cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in benign prostatic hyperplasia tissues,indicating that IKK? and AR were closely related to prostate cancer.Detection of IKK?,AR is helpful in the early diagnosis of prostate cancer.2 With the increase of PCa malignant degree the expression of IKK?tend to increase,while the expression of AR tend to reduce.IKK? and AR could be used as an index to judge the prognosis of prostate cancer.3 The expression of IKK? and AR is closely related to the biological behavior,pathology of prostate cancer.Further study of its mechanism may provide new ideas or methods for the treatment of prostate cancer.
