This paper employs perception experiment and acoustics experiment, and the object of this study are ten Yemeni students studying in China who are in primary level. This paper will have a systematic analysis on the monosyllabic and disyllabic acquisition of Tone Pitch and Tone pattern. The perception experiment, which has two parts including individual word perception experiment and double word perception experiment.it will count the accuracy of object, and summarize the type of errors. The conclusion of perception experiment is that the biggest difficulty for Yemeni students is Yangping; the difficult sequence of Chinese tone is as follow: yinping<qusheng<shangsheng<yangping. The mixtures of the yinping and yangping, the yangping and shangsheng is the most confusable type.Through the acoustic description of tone pitch and tone pattern of Yemeni students, comparing the individual word's tone pitch and tone pattern to double word's, it carried out that the highest failure rate of tine is still yangping in both experiments, it is the same as the perception experiments. The biggest difference between the Yemeni and Chinese is the time of qusheng in individual word, but the time of shangsheng is similar to Chinese.According to the result of perception experiment and acoustics experiment, this paper has a analysis on its four main aspects, including the difference between two different languages Chinese and Arabic, the affects from the language environment, the self-cause of the students and the difficulty of Chinese tone. Depending on the inaccurate tones of Yemeni students. This paper put forward three advice: strengthen the perception of tone, attach importance to tone training especially the two-character word and natural utterance, last create the conditions for tone practice.
