Regional Cultural Elements Extraction And Motion Graphic Design Research Based On Scene Prototype

Under the background of globalization, as a kind of development capital, regional culture is playing more and more important role in the competition of national economic strength. However, along with infiltration of western cultures, the culture is gradually moving towards a road of assimilation, accordingly, regional culture diversity is confronted with the threat of dying out. At the same time, “networked” transformation of culture communication makes the transmission of regional culture submerge in swelling internet information flow, what diversification of information channel and communication subject brings are extreme richness and fugitiveness of the information, attention of audience paid to various information is also fleeting. Therefore, how to attract eyeballs of audience rapidly, how to protect and communicate the regional culture which has particular charm in such an age of information expansion becomes an important issue.Visual sign is a mediation connecting prototypes of the thins and visual cognition, which is also a kind of materialized form and communication carrier of re gional cultural concept. To a certain degree, regional culture is also the source of creative design of graphic symbol. Visual symbols with characteristics and personalities can convey regional culture to some extent, therefore, extraction of regional cult ure could be particularly important. Currently, method research as for cultural element symbols extraction focuses on product design and static graphic design filed, which mainly starts from two aspects of “form” and “spirit”, conducting extraction to static form, structure, color and other characteristics, no extraction method about dynamic elements has been involved.This paper concludes and summarize the existing regional culture extraction method based on demands of dynamic graphic design of regional culture, expanding the method in view of time dimension and combining the features of dynamic graphic composition, which puts forward dynamic characteristics extraction frame of regional cultural elements on the basis of scene prototype, on this basis, the author takes example of Dong minority dynamic graphic design of Tongdao County in Hunan, discussing how to extract design elements with Dong minority local cultural characteristics. In addition, the paper also applies the dynamic design symbols into culture image package design and publicizing platform, introducing practice process and ultimate achievement of this frame, as well as verifies feasibility of its frame.Theoretical and practical innovation points of this paper are reflected in: first, through study on prototype theory, the paper discusses characteristics of regional culture and features of dynamic graphic composition, puts forward extraction frame of regional cultural element dynamic features derived from scene prototype; second, according to element extraction frame of scene prototype and combining expression characteristics of dynamic graphic design, the paper sums up design method model of dynamic graphic derived from scene prototype; last, the paper investigates and studies characteristic culture of Hunan Tongdao Dong Minority Autonomous Region, builds culture hierarchical diagram, then guide design practice through the design methods summarized by this paper, taking example of motion graphic design of Dong minority as case to carry out design verification, which greatly promotes cultural connotation of design object. In virtue of graphic language and through discussing regional culture, this paper expresses those cultural elements or symbols which have been extracted and inverted, as well as applies them into regional cultural communication and design practice, which could effectively promote cultural connotation of design object as well as sense of personal identification on local culture by the public, so as to realize widely spread of excellent regional culture.
