After the global financial crisis, the soft strength contest intensified. Countries try to enhance international competitiveness through the development path of the core cultural products trade. Therefore,understanding related products trade position of China, and studying cultural differences is the key problem of promoting China’s soft power. Arts and crafts, publications and audio-visual products are studied respectively.Firstly, we use social network analysis to study the evolution of the global core cultural products trade pattern, which highlights China’s related products competitive position. The whole network structure of 231 countries or regions is investigated. The results show that traditional situation begins to change, while China has strong anti risk ability.Then we explain the production of cultural differences through the theoretical mechanism, it has an effect on trade by affecting the costs of trade transaction, we should sort out definition of culture and the development of related research.With the development of economic globalization, academics come to realize that the economic function of culture, and cultural differences occurrs based on the presence of distinct cultural regions and groups, therefore, in accordance with the global "Circle" division, we study differences specifically to national or regional circle.Cultural products have dual economic and cultural attributes, so our study should not simply similar to overall exports. We give five assumptions after the chapter.Finally, This paper selects bilateral data of China and 54 major countries from 2002 to 2012, through the the two quantitative indicators of cultural differences:Hofstede’s national cultural distance and humanistic values.We make empirical research of China’s core cultural products based on the extended gravity model, and to inspect cultural differences’influence on the direction and degree of different cultural products. The results show that when cultural differences as a whole variable,cultural distance and trade flows are negatively correlated,while the humanistic values differences only has a positive effect on the exportation of publications,when they as combination of variables, different cultural dimension’distance has different effect on the degree of product. Power distance is greater, the exportation of Chinese arts is greater and the effects on the other two core cultural products is not significant.Therefore, we should pay attention to the cultural products’s specific cultural dimension to develop the competitiveness.
