With the enrichment of people's living standard and their requirement for culture,cultural trade has become the leading engine of society advancement.Cultural trade thus has become a fresh and principle concern and significant competition areas in service trade.After implementing "Cultural Nation"policy,South Korea has achieve great success in the cultural trade which imposed huge effect on Asia and the rest of the whole world.Compared to rapid development of the Korean cultural trade,China's cultural trade moves in a dragged pace even has certain deficits.The shared geographic proximity and cultural sensibilities enabled the Chinese government,cultural industries and enterprises to absorb the flourishing experience of Korean cultural trade in order to advance the development of China's cultural trade.This thesis analyzed the cultural trade development of China and South Korea then further compared the competitiveness of China and South Korea from Export Market Share,Revealed Comparative Advantage Index and Trade Competitiveness Index and summarized the advantages of South Korea and disadvantages of China in cultural trade on the basis of Chinese actual developing conditions.Through analyzing the divergences between them,the thesis intend to learn the problems and reasons hindering China's cultural trade development,and give the proposals and suggestions to promote its further improvement.The thesis proposed that China should vigorously promote the national and traditional cultures to increase the worldwide influence of our cultural products.China has a great comparative advantage of its very long cultural history,therefore its cultural resource is unique and extremely affluent.It is of great benefit for China to make good use of this strength and push the promotion of its derivative cultural products.Consequently China's cultural industry can stimulate fast growth and its cultural products can become more and more influential in the global market.
