Hunan Xiangxiang dialect is one of typical old Xiang dialect, has a great research significance. Hunan Xiangxiang dialect is the main research object of this paper, using the method of experimental phonetics, statistical analysis, description and comparison to study the dialect of Hunan Xiangxiang. Hope to provide language research data for academic members' study of Xiangxiang dialect.getting more informations about the mono-syllable system of Qizi dialect in Xiangxiang,Providing certain reference for the further research of Chinese dialect, dialect with mandarin,and dialects with dialects.The full text can divided into four parts: the first part is foreword,is a brief introduction about the reason of select this topic, the purpose of this article, research methods we used in this paper and research achievement the predecessors got at the present. The second part is about the experimental principles and procedures in the experiment; Mainly introduces the principles and procedures we should follow when we make the experiment to study the mono-syllable tnes of Qizi dialect in Xiangxiang. The third part of the article include the third quarter, is also the main part of the article; Mainly analyze the original data we got from the experiment.After a complex analysis,we got the answer of tone category and tone pitch of the dialect.The fourth part is make a comparision aboout the conclusion we get in this experiment and the results of traditional phonology analysis;getting the differences of this two methods,and find out the reason why it appears.. The fifth part is a summary and outlook for the third and fourth part.Through experimental research, we found that there are seven mono-syllable tones in dialect of Xiangxiang Qizi town. The tone pitchs are yingping44, yangping223, ciyangping323, shangsheng41,yinqu 35, ciyinqu 45, and yangqu 31.
