Analysis Of Advantages Of Using Cool Edit Pro To Teach Listening Comprehension To Students Studying Chinese

With the improvement of China economic strength and international influence, Chinese is more and more welcomed by the fore ign students, which will be selected as their second language. Although a lot of attempts have been tried, the current teaching Chinese as a foreign language is still in the exploratory stage especially in listening teaching and lots of deficiencies existed. Along with the background of the information age, this paper selects the audio editing software Cool Edit Pro as a powerful tool into the classroom aimed to explore the value of Cool Edit Pro in listening teaching C hinese as a foreign language.Based on the analyses of the Cool Edit Pro software in listen teaching, the research status of Chinese listening teaching Chinese as a foreign language is analyzed from the aspects of classroom atmosphere and the extent of software application. According to the truth the Cool Edit Pro software mainly used in the English listening until now, this paper is focused on resolving the problem of simple teaching method in Chinese listening teaching Chinese as a foreign language based on the advantages of the Cool Edit Pro software. The detailed functions are described and a class presupposition is designed.The unique distinction of this paper is introducing the software of Cool Edit Pro into the Chinese listening teaching as a foreign langua ge classroom to improve the quality of the Chinese language listening, which is cater to the features of information age and diversity of the teaching methods.
