Reflection On Privacy Issues In The Context Of Big Data Technology

The development of Human privacy in different ages highlights traditional evolution,social and historical transformation.Historically,it bears the constant contest between technological progress and personal privacy.In 21 st century,big data technology creates a new era and brings unprecedented experiences.At the same time,it also brings new challenges to privacy especially online privacy.Privacy issues emerge endlessly,which cannot be ignored in the era of big data.From the perspective of science and technology ethics,based on the definition of related concepts of big data and privacy,this paper combs the development path of privacy and summarizes the new characteristics of privacy issues,such as the scope of privacy's expanding,physical and economic attributes' coexisting,negative and positive privacy's coexisting and so on.Then it reveals the privacy issues caused by the data mining,data prediction and monitoring of digital and analyzes the causes of the privacy issues about big data from the angles of technical origin,system and public awareness.In the end,to provide some reference to solve the privacy concerns in the context of big data,targeted solutions are proposed from the level of strengthening big data privacy protection technology,improving privacy protection system,strengthening privacy awareness,carrying out moral education and promoting international cooperation.After thorough reflection on privacy issues under the back ground of big data,we appeal the public not only to grasp the opportunities brought by technological innovation,but also to avoid the consequences of technical violations of public alienation privacy,respect human dignity and promote social harmony.
