Privacy is an indispensable link in the course of human life and an important concept in understanding and grasping human society. With the advent of the era of big data, the pervasive invasion of privacy by big data technology has driven people to reexamine the concepts of privacy, privacy risks, and privacy protection. This article focuses on the concept of privacy from an ethical perspective.Through the discussion of issues such as the origin of privacy, privacy activities, privacy ethics, and big data technology,we can gain insight into the nature of privacy and privacy ethics..The subject of privacy is human. The object of privacy is everything in the practice of human life.Privacy is essentially the projection of human nature on privacy issues. It reflects the essence of human practice. In the initial stage of privacy, the vast changes in the sky make people try to protect the privacy of the body through the cave.As history has evolved, the scope of privacy objects has also expanded, extending from the personal body to things that have been transformed by people. And this expansion has turned to the ethical world of privacy as humans trace the metaphysical world: glory, freedom, dignity, etc. With the change of privacy history, human’s understanding of privacy has shown a transition from phenomenon to essence, fragment to whole, fact to value.Privacy ethics refers to the order and norms related to human privacy. It is essentially the law or law of human privacy practice. As the ethical boundary between the private and public domains,it regulates and maintains the balance between the private and public domains. From the perspective of privacy ethics, the root of the conflict between the public and private fields of human beings lies in the privacy facts of human beings, that is,the facts of conflicts of rights that are intertwined with the profit-seeking nature of people, the desire to control, and the instincts that arise from them. This includes the transcendental feelings and actual satisfaction of people’s material and power desires through the control of resources.Privacy reflects the essence of human practice, and labor practice is the most basic practice of human beings.Technology is the intermediary between people and labor objects,so technology is an important part of privacy: technology in privacy activities is protectingand breeding new privacy At the same time,it is unmasking privacy, and is actually "undermining" privacy protection.Privacy ethics,as the norm for regulating privacy, has also been affected by technology: technology dissolves privacy freedom while generating new privacy freedom. In the era of big data, privacy and privacy ethics have produced new changes in the face of digital technology. The same kind of privacy behavior shows heterogeneity in the digital space and the real world.Privacy is generated and reconstructed in the process of digitization. After digitization, big data technology’s comprehensive mining and quantification of privacy means that everything in human practice life is under monitoring.Big data-based privacy data, algorithms, and fragmented narrative media are pushing the traditional privacy paradigm to the edge of anomie. In a word, the essence of man is in privacy. In the era of big data, people have suffered unprecedented privacy ethics risks. The privacy relationship between people has been impacted by digital technology and network media. This aspect is manifested in the amplification of individual rights, the highlight of dignity and value, and the free display. On the other hand, the rapid advancement of technology has led to the shrinkage of individual living space.,Difficult to protect privacy, difficult to free. Therefore, based on the newly changed social privacy facts, overcoming the alienation of human privacy practices and the nature of privacy, rebuilding new privacy ethics, and building a new digital interpersonal privacy relationship have become the key to solving the privacy problems in the era of big data.
