The Zhangs moved from Poyang,Jiangxi Province to Tongcheng,Anhui Province between the period of Hongwu and Yongle.The fifth generation Zhang Chun obtained Scholar Fame and promoted to the Ministry of Rites when Emperor Longqing ruled in the Ming Dynasty.With rapid development in the Qing Dynasty,Zhangs became a famous family.They achieved a lot in the civil Service examination,political position and culture.My paper was divided into four parts:The first part was an overview of Zhangs' family,which described the situations of familial lineage and tradition.The second part was about Zhangs' official performance.Firstly,I collected and analyzed the situations of the Scholar Fame,the Lifts Fame and The Five Tribute Fame that Zhangs had got.And then I continued to analyze the official situations of Zhangs' clansmen in detail and discussed the achievements of zhangs' clansmen from different aspects.Finally,I made a simple summary about the characteristics of Zhangs.The third part was on the marriages of Zhangs,which focused on the objects that zhangs' clansmen had chosen to get married and analyzed its features on the basis of statistics.The fourth part was the cultural achievements Zhangs had got.This part was discussed mainly from writing,calligraphy and painting,classical Chinese poetry and achievements of familial women these four aspects and enumerated the representative writings and figures of Zhangs respectively.I made a brief analysis of the connections between cultural achievements and imperial palace as well.In the conclusion of this paper,I made a simple analysis of the causes of the great achievements that Zhangs had obtained.
