The Application Of Multimedia Teaching Promoted To Chinese Characters Stroke Teaching In Thailand

In the era of rapid development of education technology and information technology, traditional teaching is constantly being hit by new science and technology. It cannot meet the demand of quality education. The application of Multimedia Teaching is not only a tool as improving teaching methods, but also improving teaching effects. With the development of information technology, it provides a wider space for Multimedia Teaching.This paper is based on the application of multimedia teaching promoted to Chinese Character Stroke teaching in Thailand——A case study of Watkhemapirataram School. The methods of the study were Pre-test, Post-test and the Questionnaire Survey. This paper also gives some suggestion for improvement. The subjects of the study divided into two groups: Non-Multimedia teaching and Multimedia Teaching. This research study was comparing learning achievement on Students' Chinese Characters Stroke between before and after study. The result of the research showed that Multimedia Teaching is helpful. Firstly, it is easy to teach Chinese Characters Stroke. Secondly, it can inspire students to create Chinese Characters Stroke by hearing and sight. Thirdly, it is making concrete abstraction. Fourthly, it is creating a natural and authentic language environment. Lastly, it is focusing on the effectiveness of knowledge presentation.The Questionnaire Survey result of two groups showed that the students from both groups were supported their own teaching methods. Multimedia Teaching or Non-Multimedia Teaching has some advantages and disadvantages. So combining two teaching methods is the best way of Chinese Character Stroke Teaching in Thailand.
