The friendship is an important relationship, it can promote the happiness and life satisfaction by helpful rewards,emotional support and company. It is an important part of the socialization process of middle school students to make intimate exchanges and self-disclosure in friendships at a young age. A good relationship has an important influence on personalities, social skills and mood managements of junior high school students, and also affect their mental health status.Taking friendship quality in junior high school students as the research object, this paper investigated junior high school students in Hohhot using the friendship quality questionnaire compiled by Zou Hong.Then, according to the requirement of middle school students' mental health education guidelines, and the perspective of innovation and positive psychology, the investigation information were analyzed and discussed from five dimensions of friendship quality. A well-focused curriculum program was designed combining the analysis results and the information of interview which emphasizing on the certain dimensions of affirmative value, Accompany with the entertainment intimacy and communication. Taking into account, Trust and support and conflict and contradiction. At last, we executed the curriculum program in a certain class of twenty nine middle school of Hohhot, coming to the following conclusions:(1)The junior high school student has nine or ten friends on average, among them, the students in seventh-grade class have the most friends and the students in ninth-grade class have the least friends.(2) The junior high school students prefer to friendly intercourse with the same sex at this stage, the reason is that The junior high school students tend to interact with like-minded friends in accompany with them at this stage.(3) The communication time of the junior high school students and their closest friends are about three years combined with the interview data, among them, the longest time are eight years, the shortest time are three months, and the junior high school students who communicate longer have higher levels of friendship qualities.(4)About 72.49 percent of the junior high school students have arguments with their closest friends occasionally, 19.36 percent of them have never argued with each other. Only 6.22 percent of them have often argued with each other. among them,boys have more arguments than girls, and the students in eighth-grade class have more arguments than the students in seventh-grade class and ninth-grade class. The argument frequency is associated negatively with friendship quality, The argument frequency is lower, the friendship quality is higher.(5) the junior high school students are satisfied or more satisfied with the status of friendly intercourse, and the degree of satisfaction is significantly and positively correlated with the friendship quality.(6)The girl's friendship quality is superior to the boy's. No significant differences in different ethnic groups are noted. The friendship qualities of the students in seventh-grade are hightist.(7)Curricula designs in promoting the friendship quality have an real impact on promoting the friendship quality of the junior high school students, and have significant effects on three dimensions of trust and support, accompaniment and entertainment, intimacy and communication,and have few effects on two dimensions of affirmation and valuation,conflict and betrayal.
