Female poets of the new century give up depicting "goddess" or "sexpot" as 80s' female poets. They take personal and authentic way to shape female images in the poetry. The first chapter reviews the development of female characters in female poetry after age 80. The second chapter, mainly from consumerism ideology, male-dominated culture and the rise of network platform these aspects, to explore the social context and cultural context which affect the mould of female characters in the new century female poetry. The fifth chapter, analyzes the aesthetic change of the new century female poetry mainly from self-shaping and self-transcendence, human spirit regression, female consciousness' dialogism these three aspects.
