This is a translation report on analyzing the translation of long sentences from the perspective of Nida's functional equivalence theory. This report is based on the first four chapters of the REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA ENTERPRISE BANKRUPTCY Law. There is no Chinese version of REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA ENTERPRISE BANKRUPTCY Law in China at present and this is the first translation of this law. During the translation process, the author encountered a number of long sentences, which increased legal English learners' difficulty in understanding and translating this law. In order to solve the problem, combining with her own translation practice, the author employed several translation methods of long sentences from the perspective of functional equivalence, which include sequence method, inverse method, partial method and synthetic method. These methods significantly reducethe difficulty of understanding and translating, as well as enhancing the readability of the translation.
