Chinese animation starts almost at the same time as the western animation. The Chinese animation artists of the older generation have always adhered to take a Chinese-featured way.In the process we have introduced a new series of animation, such as paper-cut animation, origami animation, shadow animation, ink animation, puppet animation. These animations are Chinese cultural heritage in the form of a valuable asset, which has amazed the world.By 1986,a total of 31 cartoons had gained a series of awards for 46 times in the world. And critics overseas had admitted Chinese animation in those days as“the world's first tier”.These outstanding Chinese cartoons have achieved their success in the history of Chinese animation and contributed to the cultural dissemination of Chinese animation. In the past two decades, with the rapid development of globalization and technology,Chinese animation market is almost monopolized by foreign cartoons made by the United States,Japan and other major powers.Chinese pursuit of economic effects with no attention to the artistic features has led to "aphasia" in animation. And there are more and more criticism on the Chinese animation culture. As Aristotle mentioned in his famous book Poetics,“the audience enjoy the artistic aesthetics to cultivate their mind.Animation is not only the paradise for the child, but also the heart of a pure land for the adult.” Chinese animation has its root in the land of China, and its traditional Chinese art has taken us into a fantastic world. This paper is divided into four chapters.Chapter One introduces the cultural background of “aphasia” in Chinese animation, including the research methods and its significance.Chapter Two describes the nature of the term "Aphasia" in Chinese animation. As time goes by,great changes have taken place in the ecological environment of Chinese animation;to some extent,“aphasia” in Chinese animation is “ aphasia ” in traditional Chinese culture.Chapter Three takes the traditional animated film "Lotus Lantern" and the new animated live-action movie "VampireKillers record" for example to illustrate the cultural reconstruction of Chinese animation---survival in the glory.Chapter Four puts forward some strategies for the cultural reconstruction of the Chinese animation on the basis of the national features and ecological economic environment.
