In recent years, TV documentary series is popular in China, which becomes an important way to know the great Chinese culture. The report is based on the third episode of the excellent documentary series Porcelain Story which tells about the origin and development of Chinese porcelain in different dynasties, including Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing. The third episode focuses on the Song Dynasty. The author completes the consecutive interpreting under the guidance of skopos theory and records and analyses this interpreting practice in the report.The report consists of four parts. The first part is a description of the interpreting task, including the task source, the introduction of the documentary and the meaning of the task. The second part introduces the process of the interpreting task, including the preparation, the interpreting and the evaluation after the task. The third part is the case analysis. The author selects some cases in this practice and makes an analysis with interpreting theory and skills, such as addition, omission, transfer and so on. The author also points out some problems and mistakes of this interpreting practice in this part. The fourth part is a conclusion, including some suggestions and lessons got from the interpreting practice.
