The Influence Of Clarke Arthur On Liu Cixin's Trilogy Of The Three-Body Problem

In the western world,the spread of Chinese contemporary literature has received the attention of the national level.Liu Cixin as the first Asian who received the Hugo prize, in which aspects,the work has attracted the attention and interest of the people in the West? What are the implications for the creation of modern and contemporary Chinese science fiction? Through the study of Liu's acceptance of Arthur Clark, this paper attempts to identify and analyze the artistic elements of some science fictions exerting influence in the Western world, by doing so, this paper aims to study the influence of Liu Cixin's works in the world literary circle from multiple perspectives and provide some references for the creation and overseas spreading of the Chinese contemporary science fictions.This paper launches the research from two dimensions, in the vertical dimension, through the comparison between the science fiction of Liu Cixin and Arthur Clark, analysis of the difference in the science fiction creation thought, content, writing style and writing techniques of the similarities, and find out the influence factors of the individual and the times, fully summarized in the creation of the world literature perspective; in the horizontal dimension, on the one hand to the mainstream literature as control, summed up the aesthetic rules of science fiction, on the other hand, the new generation of science fiction writer works as a reference, analysis of the Three-Body Problem with science fiction at the same time, trying to find the effort direction of Chinese science fiction literature,which will go to the world.The content of this paper consists of three parts, the first part is the introduction. This part is the research background of the thesis make a clear and concise review, research background of the paper is strong. The second part is the main body part is divided into four chapters. The first chapter mainly introduced Three-Body Problem's creation background, through the domestic and foreign development of science fiction of the close relationship between the creation of the Three-Body Problem and the British science fiction writer Arthur Clarke, as the following detailed pave the way. The second chapter to Kant's sublime aesthetics basis for the study, from the angle of aesthetic style, a detailed analysis of the "Clark" taste embodied in the Three-Body Problem, mainly includes the aesthetics of the sublime meet exotic and moral lofty -- meet its two arguments. The third chapter mainly discusses Liu Cixin's acceptance and absorption of the two major literary images which is the image of the race and the world in the works of Arthur Clark. In the comparative analysis the works of Liu Cixin and Arthur Clark at the same time, a glimpse of the unique requirements of science fiction of literary image. In the fourth chapter, examining scientism and technical details of the Three-Body Problem from the perspective of content creation, finding out its transcendence between the contemporary science fiction works. Of course, this paper in addition to find out the "Clark" taste in Liu Cixin's works, but also analyze the unique national characteristics in the Three-Body Problem, so as to get a glimpse of a unique art and the value of Chinese SF literature. The third part is the conclusion, the main argument of this article and research significance are summarized. Pointed out that the world literature for the Chinese science fiction reference, and explore the effective ways on Chinese science fiction how to go to the world, which restates the theme, highlighting the significance of the research.
