Liu Cixin,one of the famous contemporary science fiction writers in China,has been favored by many major science fiction awards at home and abroad since the publication of science fiction works in the 1990 s.The Three-body problem is a series of long-form science fiction novels written by Liu Cixin,namely The Three-body problem,The Three-body problem II.Dark Forest,The Three-body problem III.Death and Eternal Life.The work mainly tells about the rise and fall of the earth civilization and the three-body civilization from contact to mutual exchange to mutual fight.After Liu Yukun translated,it attracted the attention of foreign readers.On August 23,2015,it was the first time that Asia won the Hugo Award.Great noise.Since the birth of The Three-body problem,it has won the love and appreciation of many readers.After the fame,articles about the The Three-body problem have emerged.This article will focus on the spatial narrative analysis of The Three-body problem,which is mainly composed of five parts.The first is the introduction.The introduction mainly starts from five aspects: Liu Cixin's The Three-body problem,Liu Cixin's The Three-body problem research status analysis,spatial narrative theory combing,spatial narrative related theory definition and research ideas and methods.After a brief analysis of the whole article,the formal The Three-body problem spatial narrative research began,including the space of the The Three-body problem,the spatial narrative of the The Three-body problem and the spatial narrative function of the The Three-body problem.The first chapter is the space of The Three-body problem,which is developed from the three spaces of natural space,social space and its unique game space and its corresponding aircraft,hibernation,game hints and traction.The second chapter is the spatial narrative of The Three-body problem,which is divided intotwo aspects.The first aspect is the technique of spatial narrative: non-linear narrative,narrative rhythm and narrative perspective;on the other hand,the type of spatial narrative:box-type,Orange petals,fractal narratives and chain styles.The third chapter is the function of the spatial narrative of The Three-body problem.It consists of four parts: the grand visual threshold and the subtle details are the same,the inward memory and the external imagination complement each other,the specific image and the round figure are integrated,and the historical space and the doomsday narrative complement each other.The overall interpretation of the function of spatial narrative from the aspects of plot,writer,character,theme and so on.In short,Liu Cixin's The Three-body problem uses the various spatial narrative techniques to form a unique four spatial narrative types based on the basic spatial classification and structure.From the perspective of space,space is outside the basic environmental background,we can easily find that space has also become an important part of the theme narrative.Specifically,space plays a prominent role in organizing plots,expressing writers' psychological space,shaping characters and expressing themes,and has a strong expressiveness and sense of picture.In addition,through the spatial narrative analysis of the text of The Three-body problem,it has injected new vitality into the space narrative theory.
