As a regional war happened in the early 1950s, the impact of the Korean War has profoundly changed the international political and economic pattern and continued up to now. As the main combatants of the war, China, United States and south Korea tried to reproduce the war in the film practice, interpreting and restoring the remarkable war from their own unique perspectives respectively in order to display a complex creation appearance, which has high comparative research value.Focusing on the Korean War, the three countries constructed extremely marvelous movies from the narrative features, character image, view of theme and ideology, combined with the different understanding of war. Through horizontal and longitudinal comparative study, we can catch a glimpse of how the three countries present and operate the war in films, which gives more insight towards the comprehension of the war and film creation based on it.
