The Evolution And Development Study Of Graffiti Art As The Landscape Of Urban Public Space

The American graffiti art can date back in 1960 s and since the beginning of 70 s,By the ethnic conflicts began to ease up and mainstream arts participation and the promotion of business interest gradually mature that became one of most important contemporary art forms. Under many art forms amalgamation and collision, technology development, platform diversification and other many factors promotion and influence, it changed from “non-mainstream ”to “mainstream”. Although the modern graffiti art has partly broken the early creative behavior and the arts depend on the urban public space interface, yet pervade the urban public space from “underground ”to “ground”. The important behavior and arts platform in the process of public nature transformation, the forms of public space landscape keep most fundamental close connection with many urban people. We clarified the great change of graffiti art in urban public space that have important theoretical value and active real sense for the benign development of public space landscape.The thesis includes into five chapters: fundamental research, theoretical research, key research and summary, Firstly, it is the fundamental research, describing the research object of thesis,objective significance, the domestic and overseas status and clearing the research topic. Secondly,definition of the related theories and concepts in the thesis. Thirdly, a detailed interpretation of the typical graffiti art zone, mainly included the background, characteristics, influence and existent problems. And on basis of this, summarizing the value of graffiti art in public space and the aim is to provide valuable comparative for the key research. After that, while we discussing how the graffiti art became the public space landscape also detailed discussing the public space meaning of graffiti art and the future development or constraints. At last, we summarized the inevitability of graffiti popular in public space and the graffiti art return to public space then make a breakthrough.
