The aim of the paper is to testify whether the Chinese learner, with different mother tongue and different learning level, are influenced by factors including markedness while acquiring adjectives. The first chapter, by combing current research about markedness theory and the markedness of adjectives, cleared the research methods of this paper, scope and content, namely: by using markedness test papers, international students in the acquisition of adjectival syntactical function and antisense adjectives were influenced by factors including markedness while acquiring adjectives. The second chapter, firstly, through the analysis of the results of the adjectival syntactical function test, verified the assumptions made earlier. Then analyzed bias made by international students in the testing corpus and found students' weakness of acquisition. Besides, observed the underlining restraining factors and the trace of acquisition can be discovered. The third chapter, through analyzing the tendency of the output which international students in the test context and the natural context, to investigate the students in the acquisition of antisense adjectives are influenced by factors including markedness while acquiring adjectives, observing the other underlining restraining factors and the trace of acquisition. At last, the paper summarized the research conclusion, the innovation and deficiency of the research, and presents the following advice on teaching based on the above researchIt is discovered that Chinese learners were influenced by the markedness on the syntactical level when they acquired the adjectives, and the influence is partly related to the factor of mother tongue and level. While the level factors have influence only when the international students produce atypical adjectives and matching of using antisense adjectives when they acquired the markedness of syntactical structure and antisense adjectives. The mother tongue factor only exerts influence on international students whose mother tongues are Indonesian Malay and Indo-European languages. It is greatly influenced when the acquistion adjectives act as predicates. The restraining factors produced by the learners are partly influenced by the language unit complexity, frequency of input, context, pragmatic factors, the distribution of Chinese, etc.
