In the Western Zhou Dynasty, the land was also a symbol of power and status. It was said that "all the land is Wang' soil." But in the late stages of social development, the emperor only owned the land in name. Actual control and use of land was a different situation from that. Land System of Western Zhou Dynasty, laid the foundation for the later dynasties' land systems, and changes in the development of land systems have a direct impact on the stability and development of the whole society.The research background and significance ars described, and the results of previous studies are reviewed.A few basic concepts related to the land, which is the "soil" "field", "Mining", "Yi",and other concepts are combinged.Several basic changing forms and related issues are discussed for the land relations study of the Dynasty from there aspects of land reward, land transfer and land disputes. Land reward was the main land relation in the early Western Zhou Dynasty. Land transfer generated and exsitted in the late times, and land disputes was derived from the transfer of land relations. With the ever-changing of the Western Zhou society and Zhou' rights and status, land relations also changed. The economic foundation and the superstructure interacted, and accordingly changed.The context of the development of land relations of the Western Zhou Dynasty is studied: in the Early Western Zhou Dynasty, land relations is mainly for rewarding; to the late time, land transfer phenomenon began to appear and then produced land disputes. In the Late stage, Zhou's reward categories compared to earlier varied into a single form.
