From The Comparison Of Miao, Han Silver Miao, Han Culture

The Miao Nationality is one of the most diverse embranchment and the widest range of distribution in minority of our country, particularly, centralized in southeast in Gui Zhou. The Miao sliver jewelry is an achievement of wisdom of the Miao Nationality, as well as a versatile carrier of culture. Meanwhile, the Han sliver jewelry of the area of Tunbao in Anshun is also very unique. Because of differences among history, culture and aesthetic concept, the differences appear between these two types of sliver jewelry in these areas as well. This thesis mainly throughout research and comparison between the Miao sliver jewelry and the Han's, thereby to reflect differences of the culture between Miao and Han, and at the same time, to explore each cultural connotation behind of the sliver jewelry. According to field trips in the village of Xijiang Qianhu, which locates in southeast in Gui Zhou; interviewed local sliver masters; and searched books, magazines and other thesis resources, the characters and styles of the Miao sliver jewelry and the Han's have been concluded and summarized. By means of research and analysis of the culture of Miao and Han, the cultural connotation of these two will be observed and investigated.
