This is an article about the Error Analysis on VIMH in Chinese for the foreign students from the central Asia of Kyrgyzstan.VIMH(verbs that indicate the motion of hands) are the typical verbs about action,and VIMH are the essential verbs in everyday life for the foreign students. Error Analysis on VIMH would help learner to build target language. 14 VIMH,an /ban /bao /ca /da /fan /ju /mo /na /qiao /qu /reng /sao /ti, were chosen as research contents. This article reported the Error Analysis on VIMH for the foreign students from Kyrgyzstan with the view of the syntagmatic relationship.There are three steps to research Error Analysis on VIMH. The first step is taking classroom observations and examination in order to collect basic data. The second step is comparative analysis. By comparing the simple sentences that convey the typical meaning of VIMH, we would get the differences between the first languages and Chinese. We also could forecast the focal and difficult points of VIMH with the view of language transfer. The third step is the core part of this paper. Based on the first two steps, this part divided into five small steps to analyse errors, they are selecting corpus, confirming errors, classifying errors, explaining the causes of errors and evaluating errors.After the analysis of the above steps, this article summarized 17 types of errors. For the primary students, there are three types of errors ——“Verb &Object Word Order Errors” “Verbs Mixed Errors in Verb-Object structure” “Trend Meaning Errors in Verb-directional Structure”. For senior ones, there are 14 types of errors. They are “Verbs Mixed Errors in Verb-Object Structure”“Verb Complement Errors in Verb-complement Structure” “Adjective Complement Errors in Verb-complement Structure” “Result Meaning in Verb-directional Structure” “State Meaning in Verb-directional Structure”, five kinds of Verb-dynamic auxiliary Words Errors and four kinds of Verb overlapping Errors. The main reason for those Errors caused mostly by the first language negative transfer, by target language negative transfer, by inaccurately the mastering of target language, by over use of the default policy and so on.At the end, from the view of VIMH's characters and the view of teacher and textbook and pedagogical method, some suggestions, were raised on how to teach 14 VIMH in Chinese in this paper. A teaching plan using task-basked approach to teach students VIMH was also designed so that anyone who research VIMH could refer to.
