The Jade Research Of Binli In Zhou Dynasty

Jade plays a indispensable role in the ceremony system of the pre-Qin.As one of the five ritual ceremonies,Binli(??)show aspects of politics and life in the Zhou Dynasty.The research about the jade utility system of Binli in the Zhou Dynasty knows and studies the guest from the perspective of artifacts,and then understand the Zhou Dynasty's politics and life.In this thesis, the content is divided into four chapters: The first chapter of makes a defined scope of Binli, and illustrates the definition and types of jade. In the second chapter, the main content is the jade utility system of Binli in the western Zhou Dynasty, and it introduces types and usage of the jade. Period of the western Zhou Dynasty is the most completed in the pre-Qin period, and Binli during this period is relatively perfect. The jade of Binli in with different species and specifications and variety usages is studied in this paper. The third chapter is about the jade utility system of Binli in eastern Zhou Dynasty, in which the ceremony collapsed. Therefore, the study of guest ritual with the jade in this period concentrated on the changes and reasons for such changes, and these changes also reflect the social changes from the side. In the last chapter, it introduces the management system of jade article that described in history books and to study the influence of the utility of the Binli in the Zhou Dynasty.The jade utility system of Binli in the western Zhou Dynasty directly reflects the guest ritual on implements, which can be seen strict social hierarchy. It reflects that strict etiquette plays an important part in society. The change of the eastern Zhou period guest ritual with the jade not only reflect the change that the guest ritual itself, from a deeper analysis, it embodies the change of the political and ideological field. Binli with the jade system in the Zhou Dynasty is an important part of Chinese jade culture and etiquette culture. The research about that is valuable.This thesis will combine classical literature including three rites, archaeological data and Chinese ancient writing words information to demonstrate each other, and tries to comprehensively and objectively analysis and research on the utility of the Binli in the Zhou Dynasty with the jade.
