The Research Of The Personality Of Female Roles In The Folk Dance Of Shanxi

Through the research and exploration of the formation of Shanxi folk dance female characters,the author concluded and analyzed the personalities of female characters.Research results could be used to develop the actor groups of Shanxi folk dance and to better inherit this tradition.Through the study,the author hopes to add new perspectives to the shaping of female characters of Shanxi folk dance and provide female actresses with practical guidance to improve their performances.The thesis is developed from three aspects.The first section analyzes character traits.It starts with personalities of various female characters in folk dance groups.It then discusses the reasons that contribute to the formation of such personalities.By understanding the interplay between the cultural representation of human geography and history,and the inner national spirit,the author compares personalities of the characters and concludes their traits.In the second part,the author discusses the relationship between the characters and their personalities.It first discusses whether the character's personality is affected by character design.Having controlled the variable and analyzed it in different situations,the author disconfirms the hypothesis.As people are complete entities,it is impossible to have a personality before the character is created.So the author proposed the second idea,that is,to analyze whether the shaping of the character is affected by the personality of the actress.Results show that the actress has a significant impact on the shaping of the character,which leads to the discussion on the qualities the actress should have in shaping the character.The third part supplements the second part with practice guidance and imaginations.The author proposed three ways of training to shape Shanxi folk dance female characters,so as to better develop female character traits.Methods used in this study include observation and interview,compare and contrast,historical documents analysis,quantitative analysis,case study,exploration and imagination,descriptive analysis and personal experience.Through the analysis of the personalities of Shanxi folk dance female characters,the author found that actresses have significant impacts on the shaping of the character.The author also proposed some ideas on training methods so as to contribute to the creation of more female characters with distinctive folk features.
