With that, the author points out the basic tendency of this thesis.Chapter one is related to the emerging background of the viewpoint of western culture and oriental culture proposed by Zhu Qianzhi, mainly including the comparison climax of both western culture and oriental culture and the experience of his study and thinking about both western culture and oriental culture in this setting.The bulk of chapter two is concerned with the fundamental content of the viewpoint of western culture and oriental culture stated by Zhu Qianzhi. In the viewpoint of western culture and oriental culture, Zhu Qianzhi stresses on researching on the historical, realistic and future values of Chinese culture in the world culture.The last chapter is the whole evaluation of the viewpoint of western culture and oriental culture proposed by Zhu Qianzhi, which mainly discusses the measurement of the status of his viewpoint of western culture and oriental culture. In the position of westernization, he chooses the historical road of cultural conciliation and interprets and spreads Chinese culture in his lifetime. We should spare our efforts to explore the historical value and positive significance of the viewpoint of western culture and oriental culture proposed by Zhu Qianzhi. Meanwhile, we should also be aware of the limitations of his theory and the times he lived and then go forward.
