Characterization And Singing-analysis Of Zijun In The Opera Regret For The Past

For the commemoration for the 100 th anniversary of the birth of Lu Xun,the Opera Regret for the Past is adapted from Lu Xun's novel of the same name by Chinese opera house.The great opera work that arranged by Wang Quan and Han Wei and composed by Shi Guangnan is the first lyric opera in China.Therefore,it has extremely significance for the development of Chinese national opera.This paper aims to contract and analyze female characters between Lu Xun's novel and the Opera Regret for the Past.By combining the three arias from Zijun,the paper has a more thorough understanding of the whole opera,and stage performance is supported by theory.The paper applies research results to the practice of the stage to shape a more complete characters of Zijun.
