A Variation Study On Danyang Dialect

Danyang is located at the junction of Jianghuai Mandarin and Wu dialects,which dialect is "transitional" dialect with its own uniqueness and complexity.On traditional linguistics,the study of Danyang dialect has made some achievements.The article imports from the perspective of social linguistics,combined with methods of social linguistics and traditional linguistics,and use the SPSS19.0 software for statistical analysis.This article from three aspects,the Voice Danyang dialect,vocabulary,grammar,study the effect of Danyang dialect variations within the language internal factors(voice,semantics,syntax)and social factors(gender,age,social class,education level,region),and further explore the characteristics and causes of Danyang dialect variation.The results show that the characteristics of Danyang dialect variation:it belongs to the ongoing changes,and there is a tendency to move closer to Mandarin.There are reasons that Danyang dialect mutation changes.For example the internal structure of language,pronunciation of different physiological,social and economic development,improve the prestige of Mandarin,rising levels of education,people treat Mandarin subjective attitude.This will provide more Chinese dialect variation of language materials,and will also provide the theoretical and factual basis for the development of language policy.The chapter one mainly summarizes the current situation of dialect variation case studies and Danyang dialect,and then explain the contents of this paper,the research significance,the theoretical basis and research methods.There is a social survey in chapter two,which introduces the Danyang's special geographical location and its dialects.We analyse pronunciation variables,vocabulary variables and grammar variables from chapter three to five.We use the SPSS19.0 software to survey data,analyze their characteristics and causes of variation.In the end,we conclude the paper revealed restricted Danyang dialect variation and changes in the language of internal factors and related social factors,summed up the characteristics of Danyang dialect variation.And we also point out the shortcomings of Danyang dialect variation studies.
