A Variation Study On Shangshui Dialect

Shangshui County is located in the plain area of eastern Henan Province and it is under the jurisdiction of Zhoukou.Shangshui County connect with Xiangcheng City on the east,Yancheng District on the west,Shangcai County on the south,the city of Zhoukou in the north,Xihua County on the northwest and Huaiyang County on the northeast across the Sand river.Shangshui dialect belongs to Luo item in central plains mandarin,and it has many characters in pronunciation,vocabulary and grammar.This paper attempts from the visual angle of language variation,applies the combination of social linguistics and dialectology,uses the SPSS22.0 software to study Shangshui dialect,investigates the variation of pronunciation,vocabulary and grammar in Shangshui dialect,analysis language social factors gender,age,stratum,education level,region which influence the variation of Shangshui dialect,summarizes the reason and characteristics of the variation.The result showed that the variation of Shangshui dialect is an ongoing change and it tends to be closer to the mandarin.The speed of dialect change in pronunciation,vocabulary and grammar is different,and the degree of influence by social factors is different.The research results of this paper will enrich the research materials of Shangshui dialect,and also will provide materials for the study of Chinese dialect variation.The full paper consists of seven chapters,and the specific contents are as follows:Chapter one is the introduction,which introduces the geographical location of Shangshui County and the general situation of its dialect,outlines the current situation of the study of Shangshui dialect,and introduces the research content,research significance,theoretical basis and research method of this paper.Chapter two is the social investigation,which explains the investigation scheme and corpus collection and processing,and uses the SPSS22.0 software to analyze the survey data.Chapter three is the phonetic variation of Shangshui dialect,which uses the SPSS22.0 software to conduct statistical analysis of the investigated results of initials and finals,summarizes the use of various phonetic variables for new variants and traditional variants.The fourth chapter is about the vocabulary variation of Shangshui dialect.It uses the SPSS22.0 software to conduct statistical analysis of the surveyed nouns,verbs,adjectives and adverbs,summarizes the use of new and traditional variants of each lexical variable.The fifth chapter is about the grammatical variation of Shangshui dialect.it also uses SPSS22.0 software to conduct statistical analysis of the surveyed disposal sentence,choice question sentence and comparative sentence,summarizes the usage of various grammatical variables for new and traditional variants.The sixth chapter is about the reason and characteristics of the Shangshui dialect variation,it summarizes the reason of the Shangshui dialect variation and overalls characteristics of the variation.The seventh chapter is the conclusion,the conclusion summarizes the full paper.At the same time,it points out the deficiency of this paper.
