| The study of Phags-pa script is an important part of Mongolian characters research.Its document is the most important literature of Medieval Mongolian Language.It records several national languages like Chinese and Tibetan and leaves lots of literature and cultural relics during the time when it was widely used.It has significant value in studying the historical culture and languages of dynasty Yuan.There are more articles about The interpretation of the imperial edicts than Phags-pa script vocabularies.This research is trying to interpret Phags-pa script vocabularies and the constituents that appeared in the Mongolian literature,as well as the Elocutionary characteristics.The Phags-pa script can Be divided into three parts,that is inherent words,borrowed words and compounds.Among which,the inherent words can be divided into nouns,adjectives,verbs and other kinds of part of speech.The borrowed words are made up of Chinese language,Tibetan language and Sanskrit language.Compound noun,Compound adjectives and compound verbs constitute the compounds. |
