"Manchuria Sine Russian Trade Free Travel Shopping Area" Translation Practice Report

With the proposition and implementation of "One Belt,One Road",there are growing exchanges and cooperation between China and Russia in politics,economy,culture,etc.Sino-Russian cooperation and exchanges are involved in a number of industries,provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities in China.The opening of the Mutual Free Trade Zone between China and Russia in Manzhouli City,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,is a microcosm of Sino-Russian cooperation and exchange.Mutual Free Trade Zone between China and Russia in Manzhouli City consists of a number of parts in Sino-Russian Trade and Travel Duty-free Shopping Area.The hall of Sino-Russian Trade and Travel Duty-free Shopping Area mainly concentrates on category of food and health care products.From June to August in 2016,the author conduct translation practice in Sino-Russian Trade and Travel Duty-free Shopping Area for two months.Manchuria Siwei Da Trading Co.,Ltd.is the entrusted party of the project.Manchuria Siwei Da Trading Co.,Ltd.was established in June 2013,mainly engaged in trade with Russia's company “AGAVNESHTORY Limited Liability Company”by exporting Agricultural tractors,machinery and equipment to Russia and importing cosmetics,sugar,Russian flour from Russia.In the hall of Sino-Russian Trade and Travel Duty-free Shopping Area,Siwei Da Trading Co.,Ltd mainly sell sugar,jam,fruit juice,health care products and other Russian products.I practice the task of the translation of health care products,project copy work and sales work.Translation work requires translating the product of the type,composition,efficacy,use,and highlighting the advantages of Russian health care products.At the same time,it is required to express the original intention of the Russian expression so that the beauty of goods will be achieved with advertising effect to attract more customers.This paper reports on the translation practice of personal care products.The introduction introduces the background and significance of the topic.The first part is a brief introduction about the whole situation of the translation of the internship project,that is,a brief introduction about Sino-Russian Trade and Travel Duty-free Shopping Area and the translation of major export and import business in the project commissioned by Manchuria Siwei Da Trading Co.,Ltd.Meanwhile it is also about describing the author's translation work,the main contents of the project and the requirements of the client,and finally giving a brief overview of the focus of the report.The second part is the description of the internship process.It describes the process of practice from the aspects of making work plan,preparing translation tools,translating quality control,communicating with the entrusting party and feedback.The third part is the summary of practice.The harvest of translation practice will be introduced from four perspectives of application of theory to practice,master of the new Russian words about health care products,use of translation software to improve the translation work and a more profound understanding of translation work.Reflect on the existing problems in the process of practice.
