The directional complement of modern Chinese has always been the focus of teaching Chinese as foreign language,as well as the difficulty of teaching.The Chinese Directional Complement has a complex structure and abundant meaning,compound directional complement is even more so.Although there is no directional complement in Mongolian,it can be represented by the corresponding Chinese compound directional complement verbs.But not all the directional complements can find the corresponding Mongolian verbs.When Chinese compound directional complements express the extended meaning,it is difficult to find its corresponding form in Mongolian,and students are prone to problems in learning.We looked at a lot of research literature;found out that there are very few researches on the error of Chinese compound directional complement in Mongolia.This is a very worthy of study.Questionnaire survey found that Chinese compound directional complement is one of the major difficulties for Mongolian students.Based on the previous studies,this paper uses comparative analysis of research methods and compares the relative forms of compound directional complements in Chinese and Mongolian languages.By referring to the literature review,we design the questionnaire of the compound directional complement combined with the characteristics of the study of Mongolian students.The objects of this questionnaire are the third-year students of Chinese language teachers and translation major at the University of Otgontenger and 12 classes from Victory Middle School.Using the questionnaire method to investigate the error situation of the compound directional complement of Mongolian students,summed up type of error for Mongolian students,analysis of the causes and put forward practical solutions.This paper puts forward the corresponding teaching strategies for Mongolian students to master the Chinese compound directional complements.This paper takes 14 typical Chinese compound directional complement as the research object,hope this research can do some help for Mongolia students to learn Chinese compound directional complement and enhance the ability for Mongolian students.
