A Contrastive Anaylsis On Chinese And South Korea Four-character Idioms About Animals And Plants

Four-character idioms contains not only the sages in history and philosophy,but the wisdom of life,because the four-character idioms compression semantics,are easy to recite,so they now have been widely used so for The earliest poems the" The Book of Songs" in the east,until the beginner must read books such as " Thousand Character Classic" " the Book of Family Names" and so on,are to be carried out by four-character idioms.Recently between the two countries are active in the political,economic and cultural exchanges,it is not hard to see discussion of China and South Korea four-character idioms research more warmly.Especially in recent frequent cultural exchanges between the two countries,South Korea strengthen the Chinese characters and Chinese education,to strengthen in the Chinese circle of mutual understanding and communication.From this perspective,language and cultural comparison between the two countries,is very meaningful.This article hopes that by comparing the two countries’ language and cultural comparison,it allows people to more accurate use of idioms in daily life,promote national basic culture.This thesis mainly refers to the collection of more than 4500 idioms Zhang Jigen edition "Four words story",in addition to analysis and comparison,also reference includes more than 3700 words of the idiom" Modern Chinese Dictionary".When this article in order to highlight the contrast and analysis ruled out only used in South Korea and in China using only four-character idioms,from the same shape synonymy,homonymy,and allo-graphic synonyms idioms three aspects are analyzed the similarities and differences on the expression of plant and animal related idioms.This thesis is divided into five parts:The first part is introduction,this article mainly discusses the comparative study of China and South Korea four-character idioms of the purpose,significance and present situation,and introduced the research methods and main contents of this paper.Due to the increasing number of Chinese students in Korea,China and South Korea South Korea’s four-character idioms comparative study also become very active.The second part mainly discusses the concept and scope of China and South Korea four-character idioms,through the comparison,dictionaries and books in China and South Korea idioms and Chinese idioms,allusions idioms accurately concepts.The third part is through the study of relating papers and books of reference,discusses the origin of the four-character idioms to China and South Korea.The source of the Chinese idioms is mainly divided into the following six aspects:First,originated in the ancient Chinese myth or fable quadword idioms.Second,originated in the Chinese historical stories of the four-character idioms;Third,originated in the poems of the four-character idioms;Fourth,originated in the oral four-character idioms;Fifth,originated from the buddhist doctrine and the system of the four-character idioms.The source of the south Korean idioms is divided into the following several aspects:First,originated in China’s four-character idioms;Second,Korean made-up four-character idioms.South koreans made-up quadword idioms can be classified into three categories:the first is originated in the ancient literature or allusions in the quadword idiom,the second is originated in the south Korean traditional folk or quadword idiom of folk customs,and the third is originated in colloquial quadword idiom.Fifth part first analyzes the animals related to China and South Korea with the same shape synonymy,homonymy,allo-graphic synonyms idioms the similarities and differences among these four-character idioms.Then comparative analysis of China and South Korea plant associated with the same shape synonymy,homonymy,allo-graphic synonyms idioms the similarities and differences among these four-character idioms.In mastering the characteristics of China and South Korea four-character idioms,we can more easily understand the meaning of idioms,even speculate that the meaning of the idiom.But on the other hand,because China and South Korea idioms exist homonymyand and allo-graphic synonyms idioms,so using undeserved is likely to produce misunderstanding.Therefore when using four-character idioms to familiar idiom meaning,it can grasp the deep meaning of the idioms.
